First Super Scanner Bonus of 2021 is here!
Make sure to scan this week to begin earning your first Super Scanner bonus points of 2021! When eligible, all you have to do is scan every week from 7 December to 3 January, 2021 to earn your 500 Super Scanner points on 11 January, 2021.

Meet Deberah, Sarah, Lina, and Margaret - Our November and December Spotlight Members!
Q: What made you join IRI Shopper Panel? Deberah: I saw a story on A Current Affair and loved hearing about how you can be rewarded for just shopping. I also had friends tell me about IRI Shopper Panel and thought that I could help my family to see items we all love and enjoy remain on store shelves. Sarah: I wanted a second stream of income. Lina: I joined because I wanted to help make a difference in the community. It’s good to know that what l purchase can make a difference. I thought of all the great rewards available, and at the end I could be rewarded with some lovely gifts. I never overspend just to get points. Also, my grandkids love to scan. I was spontaneous as I don’t usually join up to many things. So I am glad I did. IRI Shopper Panel support team is so helpful when you need to get help. If I had an issue, they were great and quick to respond. Margaret: My daughter was a member and really enjoyed it, so she encouraged me to join. Also, I loved the idea of receiving gift vouchers as I’m a pensioner and every little bit helps.
Q: What do you like most about IRI Shopper Panel? Deberah: I love doing the bonus surveys and receiving those bonus points. Sarah: Easy to use Lina: I love the competitions that IRI Shopper Panel has. I enjoy every aspect of being able to scan my shopping and at the end be rewarded. The Scan n GO app is so easy to use, best thing is to just scan, scan, scan. Margaret: Scanning my groceries and other purchases each week is fun! And I love being rewarded for the effort I put in.
Q: Do you have any tips or tricks you can share with us about scanning or other aspects of panel membership that could help other members? Deberah: As I shop, I turn my phone to silent and scan as I go. When I finish at the check out, or where I have shopped, I just put the total amount and transmit. Sarah: Just remember to scan for the bonus! Lina: I joined the panel to help record our shopping to gain points towards rewards. To help make a difference in the community, it’s good to know that what we all purchase whilst shopping can help Australian retailers make good decisions to what we put on our shop shelves. Margaret: Line up all your groceries in order that they are on the docket, then just scan along the line. I check them against the docket to ensure I'm scanning all products.
Q: What was the last gift that you redeemed from our gift shop? Deberah: I have just purchased $200 in gift cards to use towards my Christmas groceries and gifts. Sarah: Visa card Lina: Hamper / Gift Card Margaret: A $25 Visa card
Q: Any funny or weird story that you can share with us that you saw or witnessed while shopping? Deberah: I was getting my groceries in a supermarket when a little child turned to his mum and said, "Mum that lady's phone won’t stop beeping. Can’t she stop it?" I turned and asked the mum if could I show him why my phone kept beeping. The mum then asked me to show her first, and I did. Upon showing what I was doing, the child said, "Mum, can we do the shopping scanning too, so I can get enough money to buy me a big car and take you to the shops?" The child was only 4 years old.
Sarah: Oh, I actually have been doing click and collect, so have not been shopping thanks to the pandemic. I do recall a woman opening up EVERY single punnet of blueberries and touching all the berries inside, good reminder to wash any fruit before eating it!
Lina: Unfortunately l don’t have any funny or weird stories to tell
Margaret: Many years ago (before jars were made tamper-proof), I saw a lady open a jar of corn pickles, put her finger in, had a taste then put the lid back on and put it back on the shelf. YUK!!!

Scan n GO app stopped working?
If your Scan n Go app suddenly either stopped working mid scan, logged you out, or stuck in "Checking for update" for a long period of time, it's likely your wifi/4G reception is at fault. Your phone model may also be incompatible with Scan n GO. You can troubleshoot this and other issues further here.

Only one account per household can scan shopping under the same address and mobile number. What is a household? A household is a group of individuals living under the same address regardless of their relationship to each other.

Products you bought have QR codes, not barcodes?
Shopping at Woolies? You might have seen QR codes have been added on quick sale and some fresh items like butchery. Scan n GO does not pick up QR codes, you may try to scan the original barcode on quick sale items, or type in the barcode number located below QR code on fresh items.

2020 Competitions in Review: Over 260 winners with over 6.7 million points awarded!
2020 was the best year yet for competitions! We held 7 Draws for prizes like iPads, Hampers, Apple AirPods , and an Apple Watch. Additionally, we randomly drew 20 winners every month of 2020, 10 for scanning a mystery product and 10 for scanning at least once in the previous month.
Each month we awarded 28,000 points to each winner - that's over 6.7 Million points! How much is 28,000 points? It is enough to redeem a $100 Flexi eGift card (what's that?). With overall prize pool totaling over $25,000 this year, we love treating our members with wonderful prizes and opportunities to win! We are excited to draw more winners in 2021. Remember, all monthly competitions allow multiple entries, one for each week you scan. To enter draws for prizes like iPads, you need to scan weekly for several weeks in the row to gain an entry. Refer a Friend. Earn 1000 Points
Fill out this form with your friend's email address and we'll send out an invitation to them to join the IRI Shopper Panel. Once your friend joins and sends us scans for 4 weeks, we'll award you with 1000 points.
You can only refer friends and family that do not live with you in the same household. You friends need to qualify via our recruitment survey before they can join IRI Shopper Panel.
