You may notice that some products, like quick sale items from Woolworths, do not have barcode and have QR Codes or Data Matrix code instead.
To record the purchased product, try the following:
- Check if the product has barcode somewhere on the packaging that you can scan. If there is a barcode on the item, please scan the barcode first
- If the product doesn't have a barcode, and only has either a data matrix code or QR code (see picture below), you can try to scan these.
- If the products are fresh like meat or fruit. You can scan them under no barcode. Learn how to scan no barcode items here: How do I Scan no barcode items with the Scan n Go app
If you cannot use any of the above suggestions, please leave the particular item out and continue to scan in your other purchases.
